UB (Underground Brawl) is an ultimate fighting tournament that doesn't follow the standard rules of the official sport, UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship). Consequently, this tournament is hidden from the public and has become a playground for the upper class. But one man is destined to end the cruel government's uprise. That man is Jack Knife. The story will mostly focus on Jack's fighting encounters in the UB tournament and how he will recover his forgotten past.

On his first day he stumbles upon a large scale battle and learns that the first rule of the school is that it "Abides the Law of Nature" which has turned the campus into a war zone-like environment. Rintaro now sees transferring out as his mission, but will it be that easy now that he's caught the eye of the 3 "Dragons", the bodacious female leaders of the three biggest factions around?

Ten thousand years ago, a great and powerful Digimon was defeated and sealed away by the Holy Knights as the "Digi Core". Years later, a virus infected the digital world, leaving only those that possessed the D-Antibody (X-Antibody) remaining. The only members of the Holy Knights remaining are Omega of Power (Omnimon X), Duke of Courage (MedievalGallantmon/Gallantmon X), and Magna of Miracles (Magnamon). At the start of the series, the "God of Death" MetalPhantomon draws Hikaru, Kiyoshi, Masuken, and Teru into the digital world. Originally, Hikaru is left alone with his Digimon (which starts out as a Dorimon), and has to battle his friends Teru and Masuken, who are under MetalPhantomon's control. At one point, MetalPhantomon steals the "Dragon Spirit" of Masaru's partner, who is now a Dorumon. While MetalPhantomon uses it to revive the Digi-Core, Hikaru, Teru, and Masuken learn from Omega of Power that they can get a new Dragon Spirit from Duke of Courage - with this, they can save Dorumon's life. But when they arrive in Duke's area of the Digital World, they are given a series of tests by Duke's servant, MameTyramon. After completing the tests and battling Duke himself, they manage to earn Dorumon a new Dragon Spirit. However, now they must battle MetalPhantomon, who has resurrected the Digi-Core as Dexmon. In the end, Hikaru and the others manage to save their friend Kiyoshi, who was sealed inside Dexmon, and return to the real world.
Summary by SnoopyCool: Dragon Fist follows the exploits of a young dragon that is exiled from his clan after committing a terrible crime. This particular manga has been published one volume per year for the past 12 years, so the artistic style changes rather drastically as you read further on. It's a kind of chronicle of Katayama Shuu's growth as an artist (sorry, but I think mangas like that are pretty cool... you know, no need to read a new manga to see the new style, just keep reading the old one).
Joey wants to be a hero, but he's just an orphan who works day and night to take care of himself and his grandmother. After seeing a commercial for a toy robot, he desperately wants one, thinking the robot will give him the strength to change. The only one he manages to get, is a broken toy tossed aside by a school bully. But later on, he manages to fix it, and name it "Heroman." Later on, while walking home, he witnesses Rina (the pretty cheerleader that's always been nice to him) getting kidnapped. Joey tried to intervene, but the kidnapper knocks him aside with ease. Filled with Anguish, Joey grabs Heroman and scream that he wants to be able to change. At that moment, Heroman's controller changes, latches to Joey's arm, and Heroman become a large robot that only Joey can command... + Itazura na kiss manga + Rurouni Kenshin manga
